What We Do
Our programs are designed to create lasting, positive change in five key areas.
Advocacy & Public Awareness
We raise awareness on critical issues including education, health, gender rights, and mental wellness. Our campaigns aim to shift public perception, inform policy, and empower individuals with knowledge to advocate for themselves and their communities.
Key Outcomes:
- Reached over 10,000 individuals through social media campaigns.
- Hosted 15 community town halls on public health topics.
Community Support & Resource Mobilization
We provide tangible aid to vulnerable groups where it's needed most. This includes school aid for children, sanitary supplies for young women to ensure they can stay in school, and rapid emergency support for communities facing unforeseen crises.
Key Outcomes:
- Provided 2,000+ hygiene kits to girls in rural schools.
- Distributed educational materials to 500+ underprivileged children.
Training & Capacity Development
Empowerment comes from opportunity. We provide women, adolescents, and youth with practical vocational and life skills training, from tailoring and IT skills to financial literacy, providing a direct path to economic independence and self-reliance.
Key Outcomes:
- Graduated 150 women from our financial literacy program.
- Equipped 75 youths with market-ready IT skills.
Empowerment Programme at Adeyemi Federal University of Education
Nurturelife Initiative took its Empowerment Programme to Adeyemi Federal University of Education, where we engaged students in skill acquisition, leadership, and strategic thinking. As an organization, we believe that it takes innovation and critical thinking to shape world-class students. We emphasized that education is only the foundation; greater achievements come when it is combined with the right skills, leadership, and mindset. It was an insightful experience, with students asking thoughtful questions and actively engaging in discussions. After the leadership and strategic thinking training, we also equipped them through practical skill acquisition sessions.
At Nurturelife Initiative, we believe that for any society to be great, its youth must be taken seriously. That is why we went all out to Adeyemi Federal University of Education, not just to empower students with skills acquisition, but also to equip their minds with the ability to think strategically and to lead effectively. Through thought-provoking engagements, we witnessed a real mindset shift. The questions from the students showed curiosity, courage, and a hunger for growth. It was truly a beautiful sight to behold.
We are convinced that a new generation is rising, not only empowered with skills but also prepared to shift the world. For us, education is the foundation, but what makes it powerful is when other structures such as innovation, leadership, and wisdom are built upon it. That is where true transformation begins.
